The question was to develop an application that would allow chatting with homeowners in a controlled way.
Through the discovery sessions we had with the stakeholders, 2 clear persona profiles formed. These profiles allowed us to interview potential users and gather real insights. We separated demographic, psychological and emotional data. For the look and feel of the app, my team and I researched the brands with which there is affinity, direct and indirect competitors. After the first sprint of the style guides was finished, we started working on the user-flows.
Initially, we collected the flat data from understanding-thinking stakeholders. To get all noses in the same direction, we worked this data into elaborated user-flows. Naturally, we saw that many processes were incorrect and needed to be thought out better. Through several sessions, we arrived at the final user-flows that were to become the starting point for the minimal viable product (MVP).
I explored the possibilities for each component. By making quick sketches of the different options at the same time, I was able to make good decisions for the components in the low-fidelty prototype. After feedback from the team, we were able to make the components more visual. This prototype is now under review, through the following modifications. In the meantime, the marketing strategy is underway.
